2017  ceramic, stains  32.5h x 35 x 8 in  The  Urban Fossil  series predicts an archeologist finding volumetric forms pocked with the tools and trash of our global industrial complex. Quotidian objects, pressed repeatedly into clay, transcend their origins in computer circuitry, automobilia, dominoes, or script. My work becomes a metaphor for the imprint of globalization onto bodies and minds.
